♦Who will oversee donations for the Rowan County 5′s legal battle for free speech in prayer? According to County Commissioner Jim Sides, the organization Return America, run by Dr. Ron Baity, will oversee this monumental undertaking to fund the various legal teams defending the Rowan County 5: Commissioners Jim Sides, Craig Pierce, Mike Caskey, Chad Mitchell, and Jon Barber in their battle to defend free speech in county commissioner prayer. Such funding will help defray any Rowan County legal costs.
Already large sums of money are being gathered by congregations and private individuals selling yard signs, car magnets, bumper stickers, and T-shirts. These donations will be sent to Return America. Before the case ends it is fully expected that not only people living in the county will be donating to the Rowan County 5′s right to pray in Jesus’ name, but persons across the state, throughout the United States, and abroad. Jesus has immense support.
According to Return America’s website: “The purpose of Return America is to build a network of churches and individuals to educate, motivate and mobilize citizens in a united effort in promoting Judeo-Christian values; to educate and influence government in these principles upon which our state and nation were founded.”
