♦Yesterday the staff assembled in the Rowan Free Press boardroom and chose, after some debate, our favorite 12 Marina Bare cartoons.  Marina, a fine artist from St. Petersburg, Russia, has become the region’s top political cartoonist.  Many homes throughout Salisbury and Rowan County display both her paintings and her political cartoons (Printed from the Rowan Free Press on glossy photographic paper).   Here is a sampling of this international fine artist’s cartoon work to date:
