♦ Salisbury’s Fibrant debacle worsened yesterday as their substandard TV package, which few buy now, has gone up in price according to their city manager. This was done in a crowded field of truly outstanding TV providers like Time Warner Cable, U-Verse, DirecTV, and DISH who offer terrific deals, TV apps for internet enabled devices, no contracts, low prices, and professional installations. None of them rely on just “3 employees” like Fibrant claims or have it’s manager working hundreds of miles away in another state.
Yesterday we noticed that Fibrant no longer lists their complete prices on their website–they force you to call one of their “representatives”. Hope you had better luck than we did in connecting with them or getting them to call back in a timely manner. So Fibrant.
Why would anyone desire to purchase Fibrant TV? It lacks many of the channels of their competitors and its over-priced.
Why would anyone want to sign away your rights on an expensive Fibrant contract for one year? And if economic misfortune was suddenly to loom, as is likely in hapless Salisbury, you can have your water turned off for failure to keep up with your overpriced Fibrant bill. That’s a real negative with combining all your utilities on Salisbury’s utility bill.
As often happens in a city on the ropes, you need to carefully study your Salisbury water utility for sudden spikes in price not in line with your actual water use. Watch your sewer bill like a hawk. The city has to scrounge for money somewhere.
Are you being victimized by Fibrant’s Firstep TV of broadcast channels? Dump it immediately. Those broadcast channels are FREE anywhere in Salisbury with a simple indoor TV antenna. The picture with an antenna is 1080p HD state-of-the art perfect and is full screen. Why waste over $30 a month when broadcast channels are FREE?
Now people living out in Rowan County, who never step foot in Salisbury for their own well-being, are being forced to part with their hard earned money to Salisbury’s utility hikes to pay for the city of Salisbury’s grossly mismanaged Fibrant.
