♦ Accused Killer Rodney Roberto Wallace, 47, suspected of the brutal murder of Toney Ann Johnson of Spencer, is now being held under heavy security at the Rowan County Detention Center in Salisbury, N.C. He was booked into the Detention Center at 12:15 a.m. Friday.
Wallace was collared by Wrightsville Beach Police without resistance yesterday afternoon. Held without bond, Wallace is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of probation violation.
Many throughout Rowan County are praying for the former couple’s surviving a child. Sentiments throughout the county are running high for a speedy trial and a death sentence.
