♦ Late Monday night at around 11:30 p.m., according to Salisbury Police sources, Shanta Maurice Lomax, 36, was found sprawled on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds behind apartment 152 on the 900 block of East Layfeyette Street in Salisbury. The murder victim recently returned to his hometown from Alabama to visit with friends and family.
Early in the morning police vehicles lined the 900 block of East Lafeyette while police investigators took control of the crime scene and questioned neighborhood residents.
