♦ According to sources within the Rowan County NAACP, NAACP President Scott Teamer is encouraging people to attend the Rowan County Commission meeting on Monday July 7th at 3 p.m. and make their voices heard during the public commentary period. Mr. Teamer plans to address the Commissioners about the Rowan Housing Authority’s Chairman “Mac” Butner’s alleged racially insensitive and discriminatory Facebook comments.
