♦ Video: Rowan County Commissioner’s Meeting for Monday July 7th at 3 p.m.
Of particular note was the NCAAP’s Scott Teamer and William Peeples speaking about Board Chairman, of the Rowan County Housing Authority, Mac Butner’s Facebook comments. Later the commissioners discussed an upcoming investigation launched by the County Manager, HUD, and the Rowan County Housing Authority into Mr. Butner’s Facebook behavior. The results of this investigation will be made known at the Rowan County Commission’s August 4th Meeting. Also discussed was a resolution concerning a previously submitted LGC application that was rejected.
