♦ Sunday afternoon sources the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reported the murder of Kerry Gray, 39. Mr. Gray died of multiple gunshot wounds after an argument in a driveway on Maria Lane in Woodleaf, N.C.. Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged suspect Destin Sloan, 22, with murder. He is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center.
An investigation involving the Cooleemee Police Department, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office was involved at the crime scene interviewing witnesses.
