NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
♦ The Rowan County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on August 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The public hearing will be held in the J. Newton Cohen, Sr. Room located on the 2nd floor of the J. Newton Cohen, Sr. Rowan County Administration Building, 130 West Innes St., Salisbury, N.C.
In accordance with North Carolina General Statute §160A-20, the purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the installment financing of the West End Plaza in an amount not to exceed $ 3,950,000 million.
All persons interested in addressing the installment financing issue are invited to attend the public hearing and present their views. The time for each person to speak will be three (3) minutes each. A sign up sheet will be provided and all those who sign up prior to the hearing will be allowed to speak. To maintain order and decorum for the meeting, no signs or clapping will be allowed, as well as no comments from the audience while the hearing is in progress.
