♦ On Monday afternoon August 4th at 3 p.m. the Rowan County Commissioners will meet in the J. Newton Cohen, Sr. Room on the 2nd floor of the Rowan County Administration Building on 130 West Innes Street in Salisbury, N.C.
Highlights of Monday’s meeting will be:
• Public Hearing for West End Plaza Financing Proposal. Many are expected to speak for and against the West End Plaza.
• A Presentation by Tsunami Development Literacy Program, a youth literacy afterschool initiative, to go into the West End Plaza.
• Consider proposal for Animal Shelter addition said to be a half a million dollar donation for a special cat facility at the West End Plaza animal shelter.
• Consideration for Award of Bids on the Rowan County Board of Elections Renovations at the West End Plaza.
• Purchase 24 Vehicles for Sheriff’s Office.
