♦ Salisbury “philanthropists” who want to restore beautiful old historic buildings need not mourn the loss of historic preservation tax credits—or the end of the commoditization of those tax credits.
There are hundreds of beautiful old buildings in Detroit, Michigan which, with a little TLC, could be restored to their former grandeur. Of course, it would be difficult to find a complacent population with money to turn over toward such a venture, would it not?
