♦ On Tuesday August the 19th at 10 a.m. a press conference will be held at the Event Center of the Cornerstone Church on 315 Webb Road in Salisbury, N.C. The press conference will focus on complaints about the Salisbury Police Department and will ask for the removal of Police Chief Rory Collins. Cornerstone Church’s Pastor Bill Godair and the NAACP will be involved in the press conference. Four members of the Cornerstone Church were recently stopped, harassed, and threatened with arrest by Salisbury Police over in the West End. One Cornerstone member was a former banker and another was a pastor for 14 years.
