♦ Deven Anthony Kimble, 33, of Salisbury aka Devon Kimble allegedly carjacked a woman at knifepoint, threatened to kill her, and robbed her in Salisbury, N.C. on August 29th. This past Tuesday he was charged with robbery for the August 29th incident. Kimble was charged with felony robbery with a firearm or dangerous weapon, misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon, attempted misdemeanor breaking and entering vehicles and misdemeanor communicating threats.
Kimble, according to the warrant slashed his victim on her forearm before he ordered her out of the car or he would kill her. Kimble is alleged to have robbed the carjack victim of her IPhone, wallet, and purse.
Kimble is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
Kimble’s record shows he was previously charged with drug possession, worthless checks, larceny, driving while license revoked, and assault on a female. In may of this year he was convicted of assault on a law enforcement officer for which he received 3 years probation.
