♦ Donald Ray Clonch,Jr., 25, of Salisbury, N.C. was arrested Friday by Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies in the 7300 block of Blackwelder Rd. Clonch was charged with 11 counts of indecent liberties with a child and 3 counts of 1st degree sexual offense. Clonch is alleged to have had sex with a female younger than 13 years old. The alleged sexual activity was said to have taken place from January 1st, 2011 to December 31st, 2013.
Clonch was booked into the Rowan County Detention Center. Bail was set at $153,000. Trial date is set for Monday September 15th
Clonch has a previous record for failure to comply, misdemeanor larceny, and card fraud. He is currently on probation.
