♦ According to Salisbury Police sources sometime in the early morning hours on Saturday Cerebus Firearms, a popular Salisbury, N.C. gun shop at 704 Jake Alexander Blvd. W., was the target of a failed burglary.
Thieves broke through the glass front door, doing extensive damage, but got nowhere attempting to steal Cerebus’s well-secured firearms behind the counter.
Brandon Cupp, the owner, discovered the break-in Saturday morning when he opened the store. The front door glass had to be entirely replaced.
