♦ Joshua Michael Evans, 37, of Rockwell, N.C. was arrested Thursday at his home on the 2000 block of Edgar Road following an SBI investigation of online child pornography.
Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Deputies served warrants on Evans, accusing him of engaging in a sex offense with a minor child between Jan. 1 and Sept. 5. Evans possessed pornographic video material of a minor child engaged in sexual activity with an adult male and an image of an adult female engaged in sexual activity with a minor child. The children are alleged to be between the ages of 2 and 3 years old.
Held for a half million dollar bond, Evans remains in the Rowan County Detention Center in Salisbury, N.C.
