♦ Last Friday at 3 p.m. a pair of imposters, passing themselves off as Duke Energy employees, showed up at the home of an elderly couple and told them they needed to check power lines or the house might catch fire. One suspect walked the 89 year-old husband Glenn Graham around the side of the house before he punched him hard in the face and knocked him to the ground where his wallet was snatched.
The other suspect entered the house where he took the woman’s purse and cut the couple’s phone lines.
The husband drove to the Cleveland Police Department to report the crime. At the Police Department he noticed his tire was shredded.
Investigators learned that one suspect was a heavyset white male appearing to be between 50 to 60 years old who wore faded blue overalls. His accomplice was a slim white male wearing faded Bermuda shorts and a sweat shirt. The two drove a white vehicle containing a CB radio
