♦ According to highly regarded Areavibes.com who ranks cities and towns in North Carolina in terms of livability, Salisbury, N.C has now sadly tumbled to 330rd ranked city/town in North Carolina well below their 233rd ranking of a year ago. Going with the recent horrific rating, Areavibes is calling Salisbury, N.C. somewhat livable?
Was it the 28% soaring poverty that substantially made Salisbury a bottom rated city? The city’s violent crime and drug culture? The bottom rung schools? Unemployment? The collapsing housing market and stepped up urban flight? Moody’s lowered Bond Rating due to Fibrant? Unstable city government?
Has Lumberton finally passed us by?
