Good grief yesterday Salisbury, N.C. added to its growing notoriety by having one of its long lost residents show up in a shallow grave as the victim of an alleged serial cannibal calling himself Pazuzu Algarad. You can’s make this stuff up. The Bury needs to take advantage of its new brand. Instead of the “Kill Krazy Kapital of North Karolina”, the Bury needs to trade on it’s uniqueness as being the hunting grounds for a serial cannibal: Pazuzu Algarad. Downtown Salisbury Inc. must push a “Cannibal Night Out”. Dead Ed’s would make a killing selling T-shirts with Pazuzu Alagarad’s mug on it and the words: Pazuzu Algarad White Cannibal. Maybe the Bury could climb back into the film race with “Carolina Psycho”?
How many have been murdered in the Bury this year alone? Heaven forbid if they didn’t have all those socalled patrols down the West End or that part-time substation. Now the Bury is importing their killers to Spencer.
