♦ Two persons were confirmed dead in an accident between a brown Honda and white Chevrolet Silverado truck at the intersection Jake Alexander Blvd and Ivy Street in Salisbury, N.C. A third accident victim, a passenger, was transported to Novant Rowan Medical Center.
As yet none of the three victims has been identified. Apparently the drivers of the Honda and the Silverado truck were able to walk. The truck suffered extensive damage to its front. The Honda sustained a badly crushed rear from being hit by the truck.
A small crowd quickly gathered in the area, but so far no witnesses saw the actual circumstances of the accident other than hearing the loud screech of brakes and the impact’s loud concussion.
