♦ A white male in his 20s, was shot in the head sometime around 7:30 p.m. on the 800 block of South Fulton in Salisbury, N.C. Crime scene investigators arrived and are questioning people in the area.
An identified man, said to have received a bullet wound to the temple, was transported to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston for emergency surgery. People near the scene said the young man had died, but we can not confirm this with police sources.
Later this evening Salisbury community activist William Peoples informed the Rowan Free Press that he believed the young man had died.
