♦ Joshua Jerrell Allison, 23, from North Lee Street in Salisbury, N.C., was shot twice near Spencer’s N.C. Finishing Plant around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spencer Police received a report that multiple gunshots were heard in the vicinity of Piedmont Rd. in a desolate area near the former site of the N.C. Finishing Plant. The victim sustained 2 gunshot wounds: one in buttocks and the other in the arm.
Allison was first transported to Novant Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury and was later transferred to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
No suspects have yet been named.
Allison has an arrest record including resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and a probation violation.
