♦ Two Students at South Rowan High in Rowan County, N.C., one from A.L. Brown in Kannapolis, and fourth male no longer at North Rowan High are accused of videotaping themselves on cell phones having sex with a 15 year-old intoxicated girl in a private home in South Rowan. The sex-taping of the intoxicated female took place on September 20th and 21st. The victim was given alcohol and was passed out during the multiple sexual assaults.
This week Randy Velazquez,16, and Joshua Betancourt, 16, were arrested for the crime by Kannapolis police. The other two males sought in the crime were arrested Friday. Valazquez is being held on a $5,000 bond. His mother said she had no intention of bailing her son out–he needed to know what he did was wrong.
According to police sources Velazquez, who had sex with the teen and was part of the videotaping, was preparing to disseminate the video.
