♦ Food Lion will host a canned food drive during the 55th Annual Holiday Caravan Parade in Salisbury, N.C. as part of its Food Lion Feeds initiative. All non-perishable food items collected are to be donated to the city’s homeless shelter: Rowan Helping Ministries.
Parade attendees are urged to bring non-perishable food items to the parade, which starts on N. Main Street in Salisbury, N.C., at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Volunteers will push shopping carts to collect the cans during the parade. Food donations will also be accepted at drop-off points along the parade route.
Please consider Salisbury’s homeless during this holiday season.
