♦ Gary Robert Price, 24, a registered sex offender on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office’s Most Wanted List, was arrested in Stanly County by the Norwood Police on Thursday and transported to the Rowan County Detention Center. Price was charged with felony failure to notify of an address change by a registered sex offender and was placed under a $5,000 secured bond. He was later released from the Detention Center.
Price was placed on Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List last month when it learned he was no longer dwelling at his registered sex offender address on 737 Heligtown Rd. near East Spencer.
Price has a record including resisting public officer, fictitious name to officer, driving while license revoked, misdemeanor sexual battery, failure to notify address change, failure to register as a sex offender, probation violation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
