♦ Nathan Morris, 42, and Danielle Morris, 37, of the 100 block of Elm St. in China Grove, N.C. were charged with animal cruelty. Their starving dogs appeared clearly malnourished and are said to have devoured their own puppies.
The Morris couple were both given a $1,000 bond and are now in the Rowan County Detention Center.
