♦ The body of an apparent murder victim Oscar Miquel Aguilera, 24, was found lying on the ground between two apartment buildings at the Lakewood Apartments at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday. The apartment complex is situated near Statesville Blvd. in Salisbury, N.C. The murder victim, who was shot, lived on the 500 block of Lakewood Drive and was employed at D.J.’s restaurant on W. Innes St. Multiple gunshots were reported in the area around 3 a.m. Monday. Because Aguilera still had his wallet, robbery was not seen as a motive.
Aguilera was a native of Honduras and had two young Children by his girlfriend.
This morning the scene was cordoned off as Salisbury Police and investigators poured into the area in search of evidence and persons who might talk. As yet no suspects have been developed or motives for the killing are known.
