♦ Daniel Real Albarran, 30, “The Motor Vehicle Break-in King of Rowan County”, was back in the Rowan County Detention Center Sunday on serious charges and secured bonds totaling $280,000 from alleged incidents on the 100 block of Faith Road in Salisbury, N.C.  On Sunday Albarran was charged with:

• Two counts of felony armed robbery ($100,000 in secured bonds)

• First degree burglary ($50,000 secured bond)

• Felony kidnapping. ($75,000 secured bond)

• Felony assault on an officer inflicting serious injury. ($50,000 secured bond)

• Probation violation. ($5,000 secured bond)

Albarran’s return to the Rowan County Detention Center came when he already had three charges of felonious breaking/entering motor vehicles in Rowan County.  His adult criminal record is extensive:

• Committed a robbery on July 16th 2010 and received just under 3 years active prison sentence for that.

• While awaiting trial on the July 16th robbery, he clocked 3 felony false pretense/cheats, 3 felony credit card thefts, 2 felony larceny of motor vehicles, 14 felony breaking and entering of motor vehicles, and a felony larceny of over $1,000.00.

Since the felonies were committed during the same “cycle” as he awaited trial, he benefitted from consolidation and was only required to serve 2 years, 11 months and 25 days, according to his Department of Adult Corrections record.  Previously, he “only” had a history of financial card fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, as well as half a dozen or so counts of driving revoked—all misdemeanors. Now, while out on bail for his three pending 2014 felonies in Rowan County, he was re-arrested Sunday for the alleged Faith Road incidents.

Albarran received supervised probation in November 2014 for two recent counts of driving while license revoked—both low-level misdemeanor crimes.
