Need help providing for yourself or your family? Forty five agencies here in Rowan County will be waiting to share how they may help those with needs at the FREE Help Fair at the YMCA on Jake Alexander Blvd this Saturday.
Whether you need emergency food, help with power bills, help with housing problems, or services for senior citizens you will find an agency which has the information you need at the HELP FAIR this Saturday August 24th from one until four PM.
Some agencies will have promotional items to share, door prizes will be drawn for, as well as information describing services provided. Some of these agencies you support through your United Way giving.
Free food will be given to the Rowan County residents with picture ID.
Rowan-Salisbury Help Fair Alliance, fiscally covered by Grateful Heart, is sponsoring this second annual Help Fair so these agencies can partner together with good works to help meet as many of our resident’s needs as possible. The Help Fair Alliance is a group of community leaders who work with local charities and Grateful Heart Community Services to encourage them to attend the annual Help Fairs.
There is no charge to the public or the agencies who will share in this event. This event will be held in the large gym on the west side of the Main Y. R. There will be ample parking at the YMCA for all who desire to come.
