♦ Tyree Elijahjuantaye Badger, 22, and his brother Omari Badger, 20, were arrested at their residence Thursday night in the 600 block of S. Cherry St. in Salisbury, N.C. Salisbury Police assisted by probation and parole officers made a warrantless search of S. Cherry St. residence and located a Smith & Wesson .45 caliber revolver, approximately 5 lbs of pot, several game systems and laptops, digital scales, and $965 in cash.
Tyree Elijahjuantaye Badger was charged with felony possession of stolen goods and misdemeanor failure to appear or comply. Under a $14,500 secured bond, he is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center. Tyree previously was convicted of misdemeanor assault of a school official.
Omari Deionate Badger, 20, of the 600 block of South Cherry Street, was charged with felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for controlled substances, probation violation, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ distribute a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond. Omari Badger has a previous record of resist, obstruct, delay of an officer as well disorderly conduct and consuming alcoholic beverages by a minor.
