♦ Rowan Rifles SCV Camp 405 will present a program on “Researching Your Confederate Ancestors” on Wednesday, February 11th at 6:30 pm. in the Stanback Room of the Rowan Public Library in Salisbury, N.C.. The program will be given by Gretchen B. Witt, the History Room Librarian at the Rowan Public Library. Gretchen will talk about all the resources available in our History Room to assist in researching your Confederate Ancestors. The History Room contains much information such as North Carolina’s Compiled Service Records and Confederate Pension Applications on microfilm.
