♦ Constance Johnson, a Rowan County Democrat, not afraid to toss her hat in any political ring or speak up for her favorite causes, stirred things up on Facebook yesterday with Valeria Levy, a former Rowan County Democratic Chair. This is a reminder to Rowan Republicans that the other party also battles among themselves. Conflict is a regular part of life…and sometimes strangely humorous. In Constance Johnson’s own words:

Response: Throughout my two political campaigns, and run for State Chair, Levy has stated that I am not qualified. She suffers from self hate and cannot imagine black people excelling to great heights. I, on the other hand, come from great wealth, and am just trying to return to what my great-great grandfather achieved in worst times. I attract very talented, wealthy, and powerful friends. I have no issues with knowing that my many skills and the skills of my friends were given to us as blessings to serve others.

THE SALISBURY POST IS ANOTHER ONE OF LEVY’S DISCRIMINATORY SOURCES DUE TO HER FRIEND, HARDIN, A COLUMNIST THAT INSPIRES BERGERON, THE POLITICAL WRITER
I refuse to comment when Bergeron, Salisbury Post’s reporter, calls because I know the trio is using our local paper as a weapon in an attempt to weaken and destroy the people we need in office who will stand boldly against hate. The new article is online.
I want you to know that I am the first African American to run for State Chair of the Democratic Party, the first African American to run for this district’s State Senate, and the first African American in my generation under the age of 55 to run for our county’s school board. I do not regret one single race.
Levy, who was not asked by Keever to run, first put an article in the paper discriminating against me. The State Executive Committee (SEC) had a website to which we were to place information. They don’t know either one of us, but Levy after the article, contacted my opponent and joined her team. Since she took the office no one wanted in Rowan as Chair, they believed her article and her constant statements that I was not qualified, having far more credentials than she will ever accumulate. The office is open to all Democrats. The former chair had not held a county chair position. Being on my opponent’s postcards people supported her to support my opponent. While urging people to attack me each day with violent messages that attacked my character is how the voters, nearly 40% black, weakened under the confusion of the attacks and sided with the group that repeatedly told me in front of the voters that I would never win. We in Rowan know that she used the same process here, to encourage young adult men to attack my character. I was violently sabotaged in the witness of more than 200 people.
I traveled to each county ready to speak and ready to serve. I never allowed the constant attacks to discourage me, but started to see the people fall away due to their attacks. The experience was very violent and discriminatory.
Don’t worry. I am not discouraged; I am running for City Council. I won’t stop until God takes my legs to bring forth the great programs and solutions I have traveled around the world to deliver to you.
PS: God will never take my legs. And thanks be to God, I drew Levy OUT of the county. Let’s celebrate, but keep our eyes on the STATE.

A NEW DEMOCRATIC LIBERATION PARTY:
The state Democratic Party of NC has elected a black woman that likes to exclude, discriminate, and violate people of her own race named Veleria Levy. She will now use her position over people to inspire them to do all types harm to people of color. She has them blocking my main page. You can block pages having more than one person complaining.
She placed a discriminatory article in the Salisbury Post to stop votes. When she couldn’t stop me she joined my opponent’s team and ran for 2nd Vice Chair and used my opponents supporters to attack me daily on the voters fb page where we campaigned to them.
What we have to do now to protect ourselves is move to form a new Democratic Liberation Party that welcomes all people and abides strictly to the laws.
If you are interested in winning in 2016 the only way is to leave this state party. They have exhausted all funds and brought in those that have never run for or won elections, namely Levy. Like this page and send me a message if you are interested in helping us form the new party and for further information.
They cannot stop me. I am more skilled.
