♦ This afternoon in a slam dunk for the County, the Salisbury City Planning Board to no one’s surprise approved a “Conditional District Overlay” for the West End Plaza with a unanimous 8 to 0 vote down at City Hall.
No one spoke in opposition to the “Conditional District Overlay”. The request for the government use permit included the West End Plaza’s main buildings and the parking lot surrounding it. The request for the government use permit does not include the out parcels. Open storage areas may still be a possibility in the West End Plaza’s rear. 25.5 acres is the total area to be rezoned.
Salisbury’s City Council is the next stop for the county’s “Conditional District Overlay” request.
