Public Announcement
♦ There will be presentation on Terrorism on Tuesday, March 17th at 5:30 p.m. at the Rufty Holmes Senior Center at 1120 South Martin Luther King Ave. in Salisbury, N.C.
The Terrorism Presentation will be conducted by Rick Ervin, Special Investigator with the Rowan County District Attorney’s Office and former Special Agent with Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS.)
Using a Power Point resentation, Mr. Ervin will give participants a realistic look at terrorism around the world and how it affects us here in the U.S. He will address types of terrorism, the mindset of terrorism, and how to prevent becoming a victim of crime by being more aware of our surroundings.
There will be question and answer time at the end of the presentation.
Mr. Ervin’s credentials also include being a Senior Investigator while serving in Iraq, a former Chief of Police in Troutman, NC, and former Public Safety Officer for the Town of Mooresville. Open to any interested older adult.
