♦ Convicted sex offender Michael Lee Harris of Wildwood Drive in Salisbury drew police attention when they noticed him driving his Mazda Tribute erratically on Jake Alexander Blvd towards Stokes Ferry Road and later tossed a small bottle out of the window which later proved to be cocaine. Soon the Salisbury Police pulled Harris over and questioned him about tossing something from his window. Harris admitted doing so.
Recovered at the scene were 5 grams of cocaine in cookie form, $793 (Including a roll of 39 $20 dollar bills), and a razor.
Harris was charged with 2 counts of felony drug possession and was cited for driving with a revoked license. Harris was detained briefly at the Rowan County Detention Center under a $2500 secured bond.
