♦ Saturday morning the Spencer Police Department responded to a panic alarm going off at the Kangaroo Express convenience store on 300 S. Salisbury Avenue in Spencer, N.C. It was reported that two males, wearing hoodies, entered the store, brandished a gun, and demanded cash be removed from the cash register. The two suspects fled on foot.
