♦ Reports of well-made counterfeit $20 dollar and $100 dollar bills being passed around Salisbury, N.C. are being heard around the city. In the last two weeks several Salisbury businesses were successfully passed counterfeit bills. The businesses include Walmart, Family Dollar, Circle K Convenience, Food Lion, and Sheetz. These are well-made counterfeits carry the same serial numbers.
Presently the Salisbury Police are focusing on a black male suspect described as being in his early 30’s, between 5’8″ to 6 feet tall, and between 170 to 190 lbs. He has short hair with a goatee.

It is further suggested that businesses, taking cash from the public, review their money examination policies and be alert for $20s and $100s carryinging the same serial numbers.
