A Program on “The Capitals of the Confederacy” will be Presented at the Rowan Public Library at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday April 8th

♦ On Wednesday April the 8th at 6:30 p.m. author and historian Michael C. Hardy will present a program on his latest book “The Capitals of the Confederacy” in the Stanback Room of the Rowan Public Library.

For more than 30 years, Michael C. Hardy has been interested in mid-19th century American history. This fascination led him to research and write twenty books and numerous articles. His many awards include being named North Carolina Historian of the Year in 2010 and receiving the 2012 Alice Parker Award for Outstanding Literature and Arts from the University of Alabama.

The program is free and open to the public. People are encouraged to bring friends.
