♦ The Rowan County Commissioners will meet at Monday April 20th at 6 p.m. at the Rowan County Administration Building at 130 W. Innes in Salisbury, N.C. The highlight of the meeting will be a the West End Plaza Master Plan presented by Adw Architects of Charlotte. The West End Plaza Master Plan will center on the county’s space-needs for its all its departments. Those space needs are said to require 438,000 total square feet including departmental space already occupied. On Monday a more definitive picture will be drawn of those needs and how they would be implemented at the West End Plaza.
Also at the top of the highlight list is the $500,000 re-branding of Rowan County paid for out of hotel occupancy tax. Re-branding generally spells changes in marketing presentations, advertising focus, logos, and website design.
