♦Fibrant suffered its 3rd outage in the last 4 weeks on Wednesday. Subscribers in Salisbury’s downtown complained of ongoing instability in the 3 year old fiber optic system. Fibrant customers were forced to undergo several 12 am to 5 am scheduled maintenances this week with another scheduled next week. Last year, during a run of these inconvenient “maintenances”, Fibrant suffered several lengthy outages–one lasting as long as 3 days and leading many customers to jump ship to less expensive and more reliable incumbents.
