♦ Gregory Crawford, 37, was found wounded on an East Bank Street porch in Salisbury Thursday evening. Crawford was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem for a gunshot wound to the leg. He was discovered when a woman returned home to find Crawford, a stranger to her, on her porch. She immediately called 911 dispatch and reported the Crawford and his condition.
Although the gunshot wound to the leg did not appear life threatening, Crawford’s medical condition has not been released.
Investigators were going door to door in the neighborhood and seeking possible witnesses. As yet no arrests are have been made.
