♦ This morning former West Rowan High School assistant coach/math teacher Brian Linville, represented by Attorney Darrin Jordan, responded “not guilty” to Judge Marshall Bickett during a court hearing about his alleged assault of a 15 year-old student.
Linville last week announced his resignation from the Rowan-Salisbury school system over an incident where a widely circulated video showed Linville body-slamming a 15 year-old student during a confrontation.
Linville’s resignation goes into effect at the end of the School year.
Several student supporters from West Rowan attended this mornings hearing.
