♦ The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the State Bureau Of Investigation (SBI) made a major heroin trafficking bust in Rowan County. Arrested Monday in Southwest Rowan were Orion Trevel Adams, 23, of Mooresville and Dominique Lynn Davis, 19, of Statesville.
Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies were tipped off in January Adams was allegedly dealing major amounts of heroin in Mooresville and Southwest Rowan. Following up leads undercover deputies investigators purchased heroin from Adams on 5 occasions. Monday was the final sting buy where Adams allegedly sold an estimated 20 grams of heroin valued at $4,000. Adams a felon was armed with loaded handgun when he was busted.
According to sources Dominque Lynn Davis allegedly drove Adams on several occasions to pick up heroin from Mexican national suppliers in Charlotte. On the bust Monday Adams and Davis had Scottie Lamar Wallace, 22, in the car with them. When deputies attempted to arrest the trio they sped off. After a brief chase they were pulled over and arrested at gunpoint.
Adams was arrested and charged with 2 counts possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance schedule I (heroin) (felony), 2 counts conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule I (felony), 10 counts trafficking heroin or opium (felony), a single count of weapons possession by felon of firearms prohibited (felony), a single count carry a concealed gun (misdemeanor), and a single count possessing stolen goods (felony).
Under a 1 Million Dollar secured bond, Adams is in the Rowan County Detention Center
Davis was arrested and charged with 2 counts conspiring to traffic heroin/opium (felony), 2 counts conspire to sell schedule I (heroin) (felony), and 2 counts trafficking heroin or opium (felony).

Under $50,000 secured bond Davis, is in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Wallace was arrested and charged with a single count of assault on a female (misdemeanor) and a single count of injury to personal property (misdemeanor).
Under a $1,000 secured bond Wallace has been released.
Because of the nature of the case it may be turned over for Federal Prosecution.
