♦ On the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted List” since April, Shacory Avery Brown, 28, sought as the suspected boarding house shooter of Inwar Juvon Griffin and for failing to register as a sex offender in Rowan County, was arrested by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office on June 16th. He remains in the Davidson County Jail.
Back on March the 24th of this year Salisbury Police were looking for looking for Brown of 1526 S. Main St. in Salisbury for the alleged shooting of fellow boarding house resident Inwar Juvon Griffith, 37. A warrant for Brown’s arrest was issued specifying the charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.
Sources alleged Brown became involved in a heated argument with Griffith the morning of the shooting.
Inwar Juvon Griffin was sent to the Wake Forest Medical Center after being struck by three bullets and recovered.
