♦ Good news for the nation’s veterans. Congress just approved the passage of a law allowing the issuance of a Veterans Identification Card. Long sought by most of the nation’s leading veteran organizations, it passed the House and Senate with strong bi-partisan support.
A copy of your DD-214 is required for the veteran designation at the time of issuance of the license or ID.
Retired service members have long been issued ID cards, but such was not the case for the nation’s veterans, unless they are enrolled in the VA Health Care system.
