♦Some anonymous troll, with an axe to grind, woke up and broke all the rules of netiquette. There’s a Facebook page called “Fire Jim Sides and Craig Pierce”. It attacks decent Tea Partiers like Mac Butner and Greg Edds the former Republican Chairperson. These are good men who just happen to support Jim Sides and Craig Pierce. Another troll posting on the page disgustingly attacked the Editor of the Rowan Free Press one of the kindest and most thoughtful persons you’d ever want to meet. When I informed him of the language he took it good naturedly and laughed. ”At least I know someone’s reading the RFP and we’re developing a fan base.”
I stumbled upon a Facebook comment on the Post. The commenter’s name was: “Fire Jim Sides and Craig Pierce”. I clicked on it and presto I was on this very strange looking and amateurishly constructed page. A troll’s lair. The Salisbury Compost has been teeing off on Jim and Craig lately to try to get them out of the way for two handpicked Salisbury candidates so Salisbury could drain more money from the county. The ”Fire Jim Sides and Craig Pierce” page reminds me of the Unibomber’s cabin. Sloppy and scattered. The writing is juvenile . Obviously the anonymous person who would stalk Jim and Craig is hiding behind their computer. Here’s the page:

Even the Salisbury Post exercised good judgment for once in banning the “Fire Jim Sides and Craig Pierce” troll from posting on the Salisbury Post. Surprise.
I find it ashame someone would sling cheap mud at two the county’s finest gentlemen. Jim and Craig both knew the political world would be hard, but this website is totally uncalled for. Who’s next?
