♦ Robin Yarborough Oliver, 58, of 120 Independence Drive in Salisbury was arrested Wednesday and charged with 3 counts of trafficking heroin or opium (felony) to undercover investigators from a joint taskforce of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, and the Salisbury Police Department.
The first alleged opiate buy from Oliver, was done by an undercover deputy from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office who purchased 60 hydrocodone tablets at her home on Independence Drive in Salisbury. After arresting Oliver, a search warrant was obtained for her dwelling where investigators seized 260 Oxycodone popularly called “hillbilly heroin” (Roxicodone) a potent opiate painkiller. Also seized were 200 hydrocodone tablets and 8 amphetamine/dextroamphetamine pills (Adderall) a potent stimulant. Investigators seized over a $1000 in cash.
The next day on Thursday investigators from the Sherriff’s Office and the Salisbury Police raided a storage unit in North Main Street in Salisbury where they found 400 hydrocodone tablets.
The street value of all the drugs seized on Wednesday and Friday is said to be approximately $10,000. Oliver is likely to face additional arrests and charges.
Under a $10,000 dollar secured bond, Oliver was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center where she has since been released.
