Feast your eyes on the return of hand combat “tools” available on the internet, Salisbury pawn shops and “no contract” cell phone spots. Knuckle fashion is based on the age old philosophy: “Talk s**t–get hit”. Brass knuckles and knuckle dusters have been with us since the era of the “Pinkerton men” and the “5 points” Irish gangs in New York City in the 1850’s. Today these knuckle fashions are making a comeback with Black and Latino gangs and old head criminals inside of Salisbury. Many sucker punch beatings and simple assaults on the streets of Salisbury are accomplished with brass knuckles and knuckle dusters. It saves on painful wear and tear on the knuckles and turns just about any punch into a meat tenderizing event.
