♦The GOP Men’s Breakfast will change locations for the Saturday morning December 7th Meeting. The 8:30 a.m. meeting will go to Porky’s II at 124 W Ryder Ave in Landis. Porky’s II is located in the Southern Half of the County. This site was chosen to encourage more Republican participation in the China Grove and Landis areas. Expanding the GOP base and the diversity of its electorate is one of the many keys to future GOP success.
Porky’s II gets a strong recommendation from Rep. Carl Ford and has an outstanding breakfast menu at reasonable prices. The meeting room is private and seats 50 people or more.
The Republican’s Men’s Breakfast last month became a newsworthy event when Salisbury’s City Manager Doug Paris made a surprise visit.
Every month we hear reports from our county commissioners, municipal elected officials, and from our state law makers. Likely our county commissioners will offer key details about the county purchase of the new County Government Plaza. Often special guests appear and enjoy political discussions and comradeship. Women are encouraged to attend.
