♦ According to several Salisbury citizens, a yet to be identified woman was robbed at knifepoint and stabbed when she resisted her assailant, a Black male, in the Office Depot parking lot at 715 E. Innes St. around 10 a.m. Sunday. Office Depot sits beside K-Mart and was not yet open for business when the stabbing took place.
The woman was taken to the Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center for treatment. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
The robber fled the scene on foot.
The parking lot became a beehive of police activity with many police vehicles showing up.
